Fun Training Session

Fun Training Session

An informative and fun training session was held at Vicars Cross Golf Club on Sunday 2 February.  It was attended by over 20 players as well as some officials and selectors and was led by Angie Jackson, Director of Physiofit, Wilmslow.  The session included measuring workload to prevent injury, recovery, sleep, nutrition on and off the course, posture on and off the course, and why strength and conditioning are so key to golf. There were a few fun bits on vision to improve depth perception and alignment, and then a practical session on golf specific warm up, key movements and strength drills. Golf is not obviously all about just hitting the ball!
