Girls enjoy their final day of the season at beautiful Bramhall

There was a great turn-out of the Cheshire Junior Girls players and their supporters at Bramhall Golf Club for the Skills and Presentation Day.

Twenty six girls played in the skills competition and 38 prizes and awards were handed out for success on the day and during the season.

Bramhall GC were superb hosts providing excellent facilities and hospitality on and off the course.

There were 44 people enjoying the excellent meal after the activities and over 70 people attended the event- which fortunately missed the rain later in the day.

Awards were handed out by CCLGA President Pam Draper (Chorlton GC) to some of the top players in the season including CCLGA Junior Girls Captain Milly Tighe (Ringway GC) who won her county colours and the Best Match Player.

Eryn Gravett (Astbury GC) also won her county colours as well as the Order of Merit prize.

Milly also made a deserved presentation to the CCLGA Junior Organisers.

The winners of the skills competition were Division one Morgan Bollan, Division two Anya Clayton, Division three Aisling Parr.

The Most Improved golfers were Steel Nancy Hodgson, Bronze Emilia Gravett, Silver Morgan Bollan

Cathy Day gave deserved thanks to Bramhall for their excellent hospitality and to all of the players and their supporters for their efforts during the season and the CCLGA junior organisers for their great work.
