On 26 June in beautifully sunny conditions, Cheshire Senior Ladies played against a touring Northumberland County Team. There were some hard fought close matches but in the end Cheshire Seniors Ladies were victorious with a 7-0 win over Northumberland. Congratulations Cheshire Senior Ladies! On 22 June Romiley GC provided an excellent venue and were great hosts for Cheshire Boys U16s who took on old rivals Lancashire. The morning foursomes put Cheshire on the front foot as they took a 2.5-1.5 lead. Picking up points for Cheshire were the dynamic duos of James Clark

John, Cheshire Golf President, has had a distinguished golfing career. He was Head Professional of Royal Liverpool from 1982 to 2023, a member of the PGA Board of Directors from 1996 to 2015 and PGA of GB and Ireland from 2017 to 2019. In the 1990s John was invited to
