Seniors Jamboree

Seniors Jamboree

The Jamboree is a prestigious annual three day event playing for the Miller Stirling Trophy. The event is between Scotland, The North of England, the Midlands and the South of England. Hosted by each region in turn. In 2010 Scotland donated the Tony Moffat Quaich to be presented to the Runners Up in the Jamboree.

A ’round robin’ format sees each region play every other region with a six-woman team playing foursomes in the morning and singles in the afternoon.

An overall win on the day gives a region one point. Halving the day gets half a point.

The number of games won is also recorded and is used to separate tied regions at the end of the event.
