The Richardson Stays in Cheshire for another year

The Richardson Stays in Cheshire for another year

What a great week for Cheshire seniors. After 3 matches we were standing 2 wins and one loss so had to win well in our last 2 games against Durham and Cumbria to see off our challengers for the Richardson Trophy. We have held the trophy since 2015 so there was a lot at stake for Captain, Pauline Clegg and Patron, Lis Wilson.

Monday was a glorious day at Wilmslow and the team started the week with a fabulous six and a half to a half, win over Durham.

On Thursday it was off to glorious Silloth to take on Cumbria. In light winds and Pauline’s habitual sunshine, the team saw off a good challenge from a strong team, winning comfortably six, one

Congratulations to a great team of ladies, ably supported with kindness, advice and bananas from Pauline and Lis.
