Bronte & Immy ready for action

BRONTE Law who was a top star for Cheshire in her younger playing days before going on to international success winning a top place in the world professional rankings and playing a vital and dramatic role in the recent Solheim Cup victory for Europe at Gleneagles against the USA enjoyed playing at Delamere Forest Golf Club as she prepares for the new season in the LPGA.

Bronte was the youngest winner, at the age of 12, in the Cheshire Girls championship and this was matched in 2019 by Forest’s outstanding young star Immy Williamson who currently plays off six handicap.

Bronte and Immy have the same coach in Richard Green the professional at Bramhall Golf Club where Bronte spent her early years in her stellar career.

With the bulk of the courses in the area being closed there was no problem in the pair enjoying playing a few holes at Delamere Forest GC which was in excellent condition and gave Immy a great experience in developing her golf and the incentive to follow in Bronte’s footsteps in the coming years.

More good news for Immy is that she has been selected for the England Girls u18 North West squad- the youngest player in the group.
