Great Aintree Day for Heaton Moor Ladies

Great Aintree Day for Heaton Moor Ladies

HEATON Moor Golf Club ladies have enjoyed the Ladies Aintree Day for six years and this year with over 70 lady playing members at the club they were delighted to see just over 100 ladies, suitably dressed for the occasion, supporting the ladies section and charities for Lady Captain Julie Stonehouse and Captain Ahmed Gada.

Julie’s charity is Samaritans Heaton Moor and Ahmed’s is Centre Point- a homeless young people’s charity.

The day raised £800 for the ladies section and the sale of raffle tickets for Easter Hampers £718 for the Captains’ charities.

Due thanks were given to Jeanette Butterfield for selling the tickets, Alan Butterfield and Pete Jordan for organising the race betting and all of the ladies who helped set up the room. Kay Lee for arranging the flowers and setting up the prize hampers.
