Boys Mixed Age team beat Lancashire

CHESHIRE Boys teams are enjoying a great season with consistent winning results across the age groups.
The Mixed Age team maintained the success with a fine win over arch rivals Lancashire at the tough course at Houghwood GC.
The tone for the day was set in the morning foursomes as Cheshire went through the gears to establish a commanding 4.5-1.5 lead
The wins came from Spencer Davies (Wallasey) and Ben Buchanan (Crewe) by 3/2, Lucas Kuiper (Stockport) and Harry Kell (Sandiway) 6/5, Cole Self and Lawson Yates (both Ringway) 3/2 and George Bull (Disley) and Max Gilsenan (Chorlton ) 2/1 backed by a half from Matty Griffiths (Lymm) and Tobias Stant (Styal).
The afternoon singles saw Cheshire maintain the momentum with wins for Spencer Davies 4/2, Ben Buchanan 4/3, Harry Kell 4/3, Cole Self 7/6, Lawson Yates one up and Freddy Wilcock (Dunham Forest) 7/5 with a half from Max Gilsenan to complete another emphatic win by 11-7 showing the talent across the age groups.
