Faldo Series Win

Faldo Series Win

After representing the County at County Match Week, and winning the Under 14’s category in the North of England Under 16’s Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship after 3 days of excellent golf at Heswall 18-20 August, Isabella then went the following week to compete in the Faldo Series Wales Under 16 Championship at Rhuddlan GC, and won with a nail-biting 1-over-par win over 54 holes, just 1-shot ahead of her nearest rival but 15 shots clear of third place. This win qualifies Isabella to play, alongside winners of other Faldo Series events around the world, in the Grand Final which is usually held in Dubai (this year it will be in the UK because of travel restrictions).

Many congratulations Isabella.  Here’s a very happy Isabella with her winner’s memento etc.
