SUPER SENIORS TEAM MATCH – OLD FRIENDS TOGETHER AT LYMM

Super Seniors Roy Smethurst (Crewe)  & Bob Walker (Royal Liverpool), representing Cheshire, played against Anthony Smith (Hill Valley) & Basil Griffiths (Llanymynech) representing Shropshire & Herefordshire. The Cheshire pair ran out winners by one hole in a tightly fought match. Between all four there is over 250 years’ experience of county and international golf.

Overall, the team did not do so well losing 8 – 4 with most matches very close.

The Lymm course was in excellent condition and appreciated by all.
