County Championship – Latest

The 98th County Championship began yesterday (Thursday) on a glorious day at the historic Royal Liverpool Golf Club, Hoylake.

With the rainfall over the past few months, the rough is up and therefore places a premium on finding the short stuff. Paul McFerran (Warrington) must have done so, as he shot a fine opening 68 to lead.
