Alsager juniors’ triumph at wonderful Warrington

The hugely successful Mid Cheshire Junior Golf League enjoyed its finals day at the magnificent venue of Warrington Golf Club and the winners on the day were Alsager GC Juniors.

Event organiser Graham McCormack said: “The competition saw the best three out of five team scores counting on the day and Alsager posted 100 points to finish ahead of Hartford 98, Lymm 93 and Crewe 90.

We managed to avoid the forecasted bad weather, and the day was a resounding success courtesy of the friendly host club and all of our helpers and players.”

Alsager will now represent the MCJL in a triangular match for the NWCL trophy at Bromborough Golf Club on Sunday 12 October.
