Natalie is a big hit at Lady Past Captain’s Lunch

In charge was Lady Captain of the Past Lady Captains Jenny Page of Sale Golf Club.

Jenny said:”We had a great time as usual with over 130 ladies attending and it was enjoyed by all.

“The guest speaker was former Cheshire  County Ladies Golf Association  star and champion Natalie Lowe, making her public speaking debut.

“She is a now a fitness trainer for golfers of all physical abilities and gave a good account of her job and how to get the best out of your game when doing the appropriate exercises and several people took her business cards, including myself !

“Natalie was a very good speaker and she also plays football to a good level.

“I presented the 18-hole and 9-hole winners from our competitions.

“Receiving them were 18-hole Janette Smith (Alderley Edge GC) and 9-hole Sheila Antrobus (Saddleworth GC)

“One of the top guests was Maggie Morley President of the Manchester & District Ladies Golf Association.

“Cheshire County Captain Helen Heggarty and Lancashire Vice Captain Delia Naylor each received a cheque for the sum of £350 each towards their junior girls sections from the society.”

Congratulations Cheshire Girls

The annual match between Cheshire Boys and Cheshire girls is always very competitive and played in great spirit with some super golf and etiquette.

All of these qualities were there in abundance at Bramhall Golf Club who were superb hosts on an excellent day outlining the great work done by CCLGA and CUGC in developing junior golf at all levels.

Both teams and officials were delighted that Bramhall Junior Captain and Cheshire and international junior star Dan Hayes was there to meet up with his old friends from golf.
