“Scrubateers”

The  photo is some of our Chester ladies, who call themselves the ” scrubateers ” meeting at a safe distance in the club car park, to pick up ready cut out fabric pieces and thread, which they then sew  up into lightweight scrubs for NHS staff to wear under PPE. They are also sewing laundry bags and headbands.

This is part of an initiative called “ for love of scrubs “. A lady in the Wirral is co-ordinating this effort.

Keep safe everyone
