A Celebration of Junior Talent & Dedication

Alsager Golf & Country Club held their annual Junior Awards Evening on 8 February 2025. ‘The evening was a fantastic celebration of the hard work, dedication and achievements of our young golfers’ commented Sue Powell, Operations Manager at the club. The event brought together players, parents, carers, volunteers and club officials to honour the incredible progress made throughout the season.

The evening began with a warm welcome from Lady Captain, who highlighted the spirit of junior golf at the club. She emphasised not only the importance of skill but also of sportsmanship, perseverance and teamwork.

A range of awards were presented, recognising achievements across various age groups and categories including Most Improved Player and Player of the Season. All winners demonstrated outstanding commitment and passion for the game.

The Lady Captain congratulated all juniors golfers at Alsager Golf & Country Club for their achievements this year. She commented ‘as we reflect on another successful season, we are excited for what lies ahead for our junior golfers. With continued coaching via the Golf Academy, our internal competitions and external events on the horizon, the future of junior golf at our club is brighter than ever’.
