The 2025 match was hosted by Withington GC who were proud to have their course back in good condition following the terrible damage caused by floods in January.

The Senior Men’s Captain Martin Keates, home course of Withington GC, said ‘This year’s annual match against the Cheshire Senior Ladies was played on a sunny day at my home club which was well presented and we were looked after very well by all at the golf club.

‘The Senior Men did their best against a very strong Senior Ladies team packed with talent but came up short, losing 3 matches to 1.

‘We wish our Ladies teams all the very best for the 2025 season and hope they are able to secure their ninth consecutive Northern League title.
