Gareth on the verge of a record-breaking five-in-a-row

Gareth Bradley (Bramhall) leads the 2024 Seniors Order of Merit with one event to be played – the Silver Cross at Royal St Davids.

Bradley has 174 points; either Ian Jenkinson (Wallasey), 159.5, or Simon Bolam (Prestbury) 141.5, could catch him but only if either player wins and Bradley fails to score.

Gareth has won the OoM four times in a row – 2019 to 2023 – having been runner-up in 2017 & 2018.

David Nelson (Northenden) won four years in a row 2015 – 2018.

The OoM has grown from four events in 2015 to nine events in 2024. Sadly, this years’ Withington event has been cancelled thus losing one event from the ten in 2023.
