Cheshire Life Members
The Cheshire Life Membership scheme began back in 1965 as a way of encouraging club members to get involved in county events, to promote interaction between clubs and to publicise the county's work. Today we have almost 1,100 Life Members who are eligible to play in the seven competitions we run each year at clubs across the county. These highly popular competitions are played in pairs betterball format and typically attract fields of between 150 and 180 players.
To be eligible for Life Membership you must be playing member of an affiliated club with a current and valid WHS handicap.
Life Member Application
The fee for Life Membership is just £25. This is a once only payment, there is no ongoing annual fee.

Apply to join
County Membership for Life is open to all Members of Affiliated Golf Clubs in Cheshire over the age of 18 and having a valid, active CDH number.Or have been previously a member of a said club and plays at an affiliated Club outside the county. The one off Subscription payment is twenty five pounds (£25.00).
2026 Competition entries
If you have Microsoft Office:
-Download the Word version of the entry form (click on the Word icon below)
- Find it in your Download folder and open it
- Complete the form with your entry details
- Use Save As and save the document on your computer with a file name such as john-smith-2026.docx
- Email the Word document as an attachment to life-members@cheshiregolf.org.uk
If you DON'T have Microsoft Office
-Download the Adobe Acrobat version (click on Adobe icon below) This should open in your web browser and/or appear in your Downloads folder.
-Open then print the form
-Fill it in by hand [using capital letters please]
-Photograph or scan it to a jpg or pdf format
- Email it as an attachment to life-members@cheshiregolf.org.uk
Payment: please go to the payments page
Pick the events you are entering by clicking Add to Basket, then view basket and check the quantity for each event is correct. Click on Update Cart, then proceed to checkout for secure card payment
