Men's Order of Merit Leadboard 2026

Paul McFerran continued his good form in the Cheshire Cat with 2nd places at both Stockport & Wilmslow. Those 150 points propelled him to the top of the leader board on 370 creating a good lead over our 2024 winner, Sam Prince in 2nd place. Sam Johnson with his win at Wilmslow and a good result at Stockport saw him take the overall Cheshire Cat Trophy on a card playoff from Matt Dodd-Berry. Sam is now 3rd in the OOM with Matt in the top 10. Alfie Oakes gained another good finish at Stockport to be in forth place. With his win at Delamere Forest in the Strokeplay, Oscar Craig holds onto a palce in the top 10.

Next up in the Prestbury Open at the end of July with 2 more qualifying Championships in August.

Cheshire Order of Merit

The Men’s Order of Merit is based on a combination of Cheshire County Championships and Northern Order of Merit Opens held within Cheshire.

The Cheshire County Strokeplay and Matchplay Championships attract a higher point waiting compared to the Opens. The Cheshire County Foursomes Championship will be included as an Open.

The Order of Merit is calculated on the current playing year with a cut-off of 20 September.

The winner will receive his award at the Cheshire Golf Annual Dinner.
