Play Safe Stay Safe

Overnight, the wording on the government website in relation to social distancing has been changed.

This affects the guidance previously published on the sharing of buggies from 17 May. Our updated guidance is as follows:

Hiring of equipment is a decision for club/facility managers. Where they are hired, individuals can use trollies. While sharing of buggies is permitted, users should exercise caution and consider the risks associated with Covid-19. Facilities should follow sensible precautions and clean equipment after every use.

The new guidance from the government emphasises personal responsibility rather than government rules on meeting friends and family.

Instead of instructing you to stay 2m apart from anyone you don’t live with, you will be encouraged to exercise caution and consider the guidance on risks associated with COVID-19 and actions you can take to help keep yourself and others safe.
