Under 14s Enjoy Wilmslow

Cheshire Boys Under 14’s squad enjoyed a great day at Wilmslow on an excellent course and pleasant weather along with a twist in the competition.
U 14 organiser Graham McCormack said: “Many thanks to Wilmslow GC for allowing us to play there
today, the conditions for the time of year were superb.
“As I have said before in the golf game it’s very hard to achieve a ‘team member mentality’ when you are playing against the golf course, albeit with two other players.
“Hence the reason today to introduce another element, ‘Unknown Team Members.
“Once all the players had tee’d off we drew lots for the team combinations and below are the teams and eventual results
“Well done everyone, the joint team winners each received a golf ball (Pierce we owe you one!).
The next session will be 1-2-1 coaching with Mark Johnson and Matt Turnock at The Beeches near Knutsford on Sunday 17th November.
“Our pros are there to help you in the times ahead.
“So analyse your own game and feel free to ask about areas you feel that you don’t match your expectations.
“My thanks go, as always, to parents for their support, whilst not forgetting my colleagues today Mike Jones and Jim McBride for their usual excellent support.”
