Under 14s win at Sandbach

Cheshire’s busy u14 squad enjoyed their latest trip to Sandbach Golf Club as reported by their manager Graham McCormack: “At last, some lovely weather, played on a really nice 9-hole course at Sandbach GC, where we were made very welcome.
“We came away with a 6-1 win and this was the first time two of our players, Alex Le at Ringway and Jamie Yarwood, Sandiway played for the U14s, both winning their matches, well done…
“Unfortunately Sandbach could only field four players, the rest of their team being made up of U14s players, quite a mix on the day, enjoyed by everyone.

“There is some respite now, our next challenge is Wallasey’s Junior Open on Sun 14th
July, which our squad have been tasked to enter If possible I will try to get to this one, it’s a good opportunity to see up and coming players and of
course our own.
“Our next match is against Lanc’s U14s at Birchwood on Sat27th July, we need to sharpen our pencil for that one after our 7-3 loss against S&H!”
