Sandiway celebrate Stuart’s success

At the recent County Dinner, Stuart Richards from Sandiway Golf Club, was presented with the Junior Organiser of the Year Award by the President of the Cheshire Union of Golf Clubs, Tony Gregory.
Following the engraving of a silver collar, the Waterford Glass Decanter was re-presented to Stuart in the presence of the Sandiway Club Captain, David Simpson and the Lady Captain, Waveney Oakley,
Stuart has been the dedicated Junior Organiser at Sandiway Golf Club for well over 10 years. He has also been a great supporter of the mid Cheshire Junior League and the County.
The President, Tony Gregory, commented: “It is common that Junior Organisers become involved when their children are progressing from a young age, and Stuart is no different in this respect, but where he is different is that he has continued as Junior Organiser well after his son has grown up.
He is a great ambassador for Junior golf and without people like him who are prepared to give up their personal time year after year, Cheshire as a County would not be able to attract and nurture such talent as we have today.
As a County we thank Sandiway Golf Club for their long and continued support of Cheshire Golf.”
