The semi-final and final of the Senior Men’s Matchplay Championship was held at Prenton GC in wall-to-wall sunshine after playing the qualifying round and early knock out rounds the previous week. The morning semi-finals were won by Bramhall’s Gareth Bradley against Neil Hickson (Ringway) in a close contest by 2&1.
