Hat Trick for Alsager ladies

Over the Spring and Summer months hundreds of ladies have enjoyed their Inter Club matches in the East and West of Cheshire.
After playing in divisions the next step is Knock Out matches between the top clubs looking to reach their finals days in their respective areas.
The top teams from East Cheshire and West Cheshire then play each other in the finals between Business Ladies. A, B and Plate teams, which are decided by handicaps.
The 2024 finals were held at the fantastic Delamere Forest Golf Club on one of the top courses in the region making it a day to remember for all of the players.
First up were the Business ladies and it was East Champions Hazel Grove who came out on top by 2/1 with the final match being decided on the 18th hole.
Next up were the A teams and it was another win for the East with Bramall Park beating Helsby 5-2.
The third match saw Alsager, representing the East, looking to make it a hat-trick of wins having been champions in 2023 and 2022.
They took on Eaton and were delighted to complete a superb hat-trick with a 4.5-2.5 victory.
Now down to final match with Eaton determined not to make it a clean sweep for the East as they took on Sale.
Eaton repeated Alsager’s 4.5 – 2.5 victory to complete a great day for Cheshire Ladies Golf in idyllic surroundings.
