Lymm too strong for Under 14s

Cheshire’s Under-14s Boys team faced a tough task as they took on a strong Lymm boys team recently

Team manager Graham McCormack said: “We were so lucky with the weather today, unfortunately we were not so lucky with the result, losing 6-3 to a quite strong Lymm side. “Ironically Tomas (Balakrishnan) and James (Harrison) had by far the greatest challenge giving 10 and 11 shots plus home advantage to their opponents.

“They both won their games, a great achievement, and Alfie Ogden also used his two complimentary shots to his advantage, winning Two Up.

“I know that the rest of the team are itching to play again and show why they are are important members of our u14 Squad.

“My thanks go to the two Daves (Griffiths and Clark) at Lymm for making us so welcome and I congratulate them on their win.

“I must also thank the catering staff who looked after us so well considering that they had a wedding reception to contend with. And as always thanks to the mums and dads for their support today along with my ever-present cohort Jim McBride.
