Dan completes Bramhall double at Wallasey

Dan Hayes (Bramhall GC) came out on top in brutal windy conditions to win the prestigious 36-hole scratch Frank Stableford at Wallasey on 25th May. He beat a strong field with a total of 71 points, including an incredible 38 point second round. Cheshire team mates Joe Sephton and Josh McMahon were second and third, with Sam Burton, Michael Oakes, Sam Prince, Spencer Davies, Josh Sims and Paul McFerran also well placed.

Dan’s win follows that of fellow club member Gareth Bradley who secured the Senior Frank Stableford three weeks ago. A notable double for Bramhall.

This will be a busy summer of golf for Dan, an England team member, before he travels to the USA to begin a golf scholarship in August.
