Congratulations Morgan

Morgan played in the Welsh Girls U18s Championship at Wenvoe Castle Golf Club. Format was 36 hole stroke play qualifier then into last 8 match play. Morgan won her quarter final 5&4, then her Semi final 5&4 unfortunately loosing the final 3&2 after going 4 down through 5 fighting back taking Izzy Kelly (+3 golfer 3 years older) to the 16th. Highlight was her 5 birdies in her 1/4 final match going -2 through the 15 holes played.

She did however leave with a few trophies for her amazing efforts this week.

Welsh Girls Championship Runner Up and winner of the Nicholls Cup.

President’s Trophy – Runner Up in the 36-hole qualifier.

Melissa Trophy – Youngest qualifier for the Championship match play stage (top 16)
